Portable tester for hydraulic steering systems

This equipment allows you to easily check the malfunction of the hydraulic steering system without removing the units from the vehicle. Until now, there have been only a few methods for checking for hydraulic steering system problems, such as visual inspection in case of fluid leakage or placing the unit on a test stand. The advantages of this portable tester are that an accurate diagnosis can be freely carried out by a mechanic at a service station following simple instructions. Removal of units from the car is not required. A few minutes are enough to connect the tester and, after starting the engine, it is easy and quick to check the operation of the hydraulic steering system by measuring the following parameters:

* The pressure of the hydraulic steering system by turning the steering wheel to the extreme positions.
* The maximum pressure given out by the GUR pump.
* Produced fluid flow of the power steering pump.
* Internal leaks in the steering rack and power steering pump.
* Check for any metallic particles in the system fluid
