With the AT-008 stand you can:
Check steering rack:
To flow.
Housing wear (using fluid flow, pressure sensors)
Wear of Teflon worm rings (using liquid flow)
Wear of Teflon piston rings (using fluid flow)
Mechanical damage to the worm (example: “twitching” of the steering wheel in a turn)
Full imitation of the operation of the rack, as on a car under various conditions (example: parking, movement)
Possibility to lock the rail in any position with a load
Check power steering pump:
To flow.
Hull removal.
Fluid flow (capacity).
Pressure.
Work at different speeds.
Possibility to test double-circuit pumps.
Valve stuck.
Various testing options:
Rail only (using built-in pump).
Pump only (load simulated without rack).
The pump and the rail removed from the car (working on a car is simulated, you can determine the problem in the hoses, the tank if the liquid on the car is very hot).
Additional functions:
The ability to control the temperature of the liquid during the operation of the units on the stand.
It is easy to control the level of oil (liquid) in the tank of the stand.
The pump can be rotated clockwise/counterclockwise.
Pump rotation speed adjustment (digital display).
